Colorado Super League, the state’s only recognized United State Adult Soccer Association (USASA) State Premier League, is set to kick-off on Sunday, August 18. The new season includes a year-long international calendar format + play-offs in June 2020, along with mid-season incentives.
Format: The 2019/20 season will run from August – November 2019 and restart March-June 2020. There will be a total of 13 teams in the league, with each team having 16 guaranteed regular season games, 8 in Fall & 8 in Spring. There will be no play-offs until June 2020, with the top 4 teams qualifying to semifinals in single-game elimination games until a Champion is crowned.
Prizes and Rewards: Come June 2020 after the 16 regular season games, $7,000 in cash prizes will be in play, $6,000 to the Champion and $1,000 to the Runner-Up. While there is no cash prize given to the teams after Fall season concludes, there are two important incentives for teams to fight for top of the table.
Fields: Dick’s Sporting Goods Park will be home to Colorado Super League for the majority of the games. Stenger Soccer Complex along with various stadium venues across the Denver Metro area will be hosting games as well for league play. 2019/20 Colorado Super League Final will be played at a stadium venue, to be determined.
