DENVER, Colo. -The Colorado Soccer Association welcomes the Denver Kickers Soccer League to the Adult Division where they will officially be a sanctioned league under CSA as a full member.

Recently, the Denver Kickers only had one league tied to the adult program, which was the Over 60 division. Now, the Over 35 and Over 45 will also join CSA.

“We are beyond happy and excited for the Denver Kickers to fully join the association”, said David Campos, Adult Division Representative. “Knowing this club personally for over 25 years and their successful history in Colorado, we’re thrilled to have them join our adult program as an affiliated league. This is a true reflection of what we look for in our leagues”, he added.

The Denver Kickers were founded in 1962 and is one of the most prestigious and historic clubs in the state winning a total of five USASA Amateur Cups in 1977, 1978, 1983, 1994 and 1995. In 1968, they acquired their first clubhouse, which was an old two-story red brick schoolhouse on 1 ¾ acres in Golden. Later on, in 1976, the dream became a reality as a parcel of land was acquired from the Adolph Coors Brewing Company where the new clubhouse was designed and built by members.

Today, the Denver Kickers Clubhouse is located on 8 acres of land, has a European-size championship soccer pitch home to over 400 members and will continue to provide playing opportunities for adult men over the age of 35, 45 and 60. With the recent addition of the Denver Kickers Soccer League, the Adult Division now expands to six affiliated leagues including the Colorado Adult Coed League, La Liga Santa Fe, Liga Soccer Latina, Liga Premier JCC and Metro Women’s Soccer League.

Don’t forget to follow us on our social media platforms Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube for more Youth, Adult and Referee content from across the state.

CSA’s adult division bridges the gap between statewide youth soccer programs and a variety of competitions for men and women across Colorado. Our goal is to affiliate as many leagues as possible throughout the state to better serve our members. If you currently run a league and would like to affiliate with CSA (or would like to add your team to a CSA league), please contact David Campos at dcampos@coloradosoccer.org.
